For over forty years I have painted and created collage and multi-dimensional works. More recently, I have ventured seriously and with passion into photography.

Looking through my camera lens, I bring a lifetime of art experience to this medium. My sense of colour and the beauty of light greatly influence my photography.

Simply recording my observations is not enough, however. It is important that my photographs show not only what I see but also a different way of seeing—that they reveal the overlooked and evoke an emotional response.

I move into a deeper way of seeing when I am with my camera. With quiet devotion, the commonplace appears beautiful, without artifice. Wandering alone, I hear the silence and breathe in the hidden.
