For more than forty years I have painted and created collage and multi-dimensional works. Over the last few years photography has become my passion.
Looking through my camera lens, I bring a lifetime of art experience to this medium. My sense of colour and the beauty of light greatly influence my photography.
It is important to me that my photographs show not only what I see but also a different way of seeing—that they reveal the overlooked and evoke an emotional response.
My picture-taking becomes less about capturing an image and more about immersing myself into the image itself. Partnered with my camera, I am able to see and feel more deeply than ever before.
Wandering alone, I hear the silence and breathe in the hidden.

Upcoming Show
The photographs in Fragments were taken during three trips to Havana over a 12-month period. I edited approximately 6,000 images again and again and this show is a further distillation.
Havana has captured my heart and with these photographs I hope to share this deep connection.
